Job Summary
Diagnose vehicle issues and perform repairs and maintenance on automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, alignment, suspension, brakes, and heating and cooling. Receive repair orders and execute work with accuracy while providing time estimates and coordinating with parts and service advisors. Test drive vehicles using diagnostic tools, perform basic care such as oil changes and tire rotations, and complete thorough safety inspections. Operate power tools safely and maintain a clean work environment. Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Supply own tools necessary to complete most jobs
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certifications preferred
