Job Summary
Perform mechanical diagnostics and repairs on semi-trucks and trailers, including tires, HVAC systems, brakes, steering, and electrical systems. Conduct fleet inspections, maintain equipment, respond to roadside service needs, and adhere to safety protocols. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy tires are required. Ongoing training and physical demands are integral to the role.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids
- Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration
