Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires on various vehicles including passenger cars and trucks. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on semi-trucks and trailers, conducting fleet inspections, and operating company vehicles safely. Technicians must be prepared to respond to roadside service calls and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). The position requires adherence to safety protocols and company policies, and participation in ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing between 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical aids
- Ability to perform physically demanding work involving repetitive motion, forceful exertion, and working in awkward postures or under vibration
