Job Summary
Conduct complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on customer and dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment, including performing field work as required. Mentor Service Technician Trainees and Support Technicians, while conducting or supporting customer clinics. Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment, ensuring complete documentation of all work orders and adherence to safety regulations. Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, participate in required training programs, and work varying shifts including holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 75-pounds
- Must have basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
- Ability to work varying shifts, extended hours, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in John Deere Ag Tech or related 2 year degree
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
