Job Summary
Conduct diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment, including field work as required. Mentor trainees and technicians, support customer clinics, and maintain accurate documentation of work orders. Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and stay current on John Deere and competitive product knowledge. Requires ability to stand extended periods, lift 75 pounds, and work varying shifts including holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Equivalent experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 75-pounds
- Must have basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
- Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work varying shifts, extended hours, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in John Deere Ag Tech
- Related 2-year degree
- 2 years of relevant experience
