Job Summary
Independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on John Deere agricultural and turf equipment. Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians; conducts or supports customer clinics; performs diagnostics and repairs in the field as required; accountable for billable time and work orders; documents diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submits information on time; may participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs; operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment; maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area; adheres to safety rules and stays current on John Deere and competitive products.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in John Deere Ag Tech or related 2 year degree and/or 2 years of relevant experience preferred
