Job Summary
Diagnose, service, and repair John Deere agricultural and turf equipment; independently perform complex diagnostics and maintenance; mentor Service Technician Trainees and other technicians; support customer clinics; perform field diagnostics and repairs as needed; ensure accurate, timely documentation on work orders; contribute to ongoing skills development through training and safety adherence; operate and maintain tools and vehicles for diagnostic work while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates degree in John Deere Ag Tech or related 2 year degree and/or 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of outdoor power equipment/agricultural equipment
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work varying shifts, extended hours, and holidays
- Must have basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures
