Job Summary
Oversee physical property maintenance, including repairs, preventative care, construction projects, grounds keeping, and onsite amenities upkeep. Respond to on-call and after-hour emergencies while managing the make-ready process for units. Perform plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, and tile work under the supervision of the Lead Service Technician and Community Manager. Adhere to federal, state, and local Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. Requires EPA Sec 608 certification, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 50 pounds or more. Must be willing to work in poor weather conditions and climb ladders.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA Sec 608 Certification - either a Type I (small appliances) plus Type II (AC's), or Type Universal
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
- Must be willing to be on-call
- Must be able to climb up and down a ladder
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of multi-family maintenance experience or at least 2+ years of commercial maintenance experience
