Job Summary
Perform basic routine maintenance including painting, minor plumbing, electrical work, appliance repairs, and HVAC tasks to ensure property upkeep and safety. Prepare vacant units for new residents by cleaning, repairing fixtures, and verifying appliance functionality. Complete resident service requests, assist with seasonal maintenance, and maintain logs for inspections and preventative tasks. Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation for after-hours requests and travel to nearby communities as assigned. Report deficiencies and supply needs to the Property Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–2 years of general maintenance or trade experience
- Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and painting tasks
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and follow guidance from senior maintenance staff
- Must provide and maintain personal hand tools required to perform job duties
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
