Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles; test drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools; communicate with the Service Advisor about additional services; provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs; execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications; ASE certificate required; strong communication and customer service skills; proficient with diagnostic equipment; minimum 2 years auto technician experience; high school diploma required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- ASE certificate
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
