Job Summary
Hands-on role maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machine tools (CNC and conventional) with travel to support national deliveries and trade shows; responsibilities include preparing machines for shipment, showroom demonstrations, on-site service, documenting repairs, and assisting with installations and customer training. Requires experience with machine tools (lathes, mills, saws, grinders), mechanical and electrical systems (3-phase), blueprints/schematics; travel 30-50% and base in Philadelphia showroom with possible seasonal travel adjustments. Compensation $25-$45 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in industrial machine repair or a related technical field
- Hands-on experience with machine tools (Lathes, Mills, Saws, Grinders, or Sheet Metal Machinery)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial electrical (3-phase) systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to assist customers over the phone
