Job Summary
Diagnose issues and perform standard repairs on heavy equipment across shop and field settings. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, drive-train, air conditioning, suspension, and related systems; welding and brazing; fabricating parts and structures as needed; sourcing and ordering parts; working in a safe manner and complying with safety procedures and DOT requirements. Role requires willingness to travel and work remotely as required, overtime as needed, and effective communication with supervisors and customers to document causes and corrections of machine repairs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Technical school graduate preferred
- Experience with Volvo construction equipment a plus
- Experience with paving equipment a plus
- Must possess and maintain acceptable safe driving record
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Certification
