Service Technician

Job Summary
The Service Technician will repair, maintain, and facilitate the installation of loading dock equipment, industrial doors, and specialty lifts. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, modifying equipment to specifications, and driving to customer sites for service. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed vocational training or an associate's degree. Physical stamina is necessary for prolonged periods of manual work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work with mechanical and electrical components
- Basic understanding of how and why electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems work
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

- Vocational school or associate’s degree in related field
