Service Technician

Repair, maintain, and facilitate installation and service loading dock equipment, industrial doors and specialty lifts; requires driving to customer sites in a company truck and maintaining an organized work environment. Responsibilities include using hand tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust equipment; conduct tests to ensure equipment performs to specifications; service and maintain equipment per specification; disassemble or dismantle equipment; be punctual; respond to customer questions about product and service; plan and facilitate installation and repair of new or refurbished machinery; conduct safety inspections; tag subpar equipment; perform related duties as assigned. Must read and understand blueprints and schematics; possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with mechanical and electrical components; maintain organization and attention to detail; lift up to 50 pounds; certain physical requirements apply.
