Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles at Riverview Chevrolet GMC dealership. Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Test drive vehicles and components using diagnostic tools; communicate with the Service Advisor about any additional service needs; provide accurate time estimates for repairs; execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Demonstrates fast, eager learning and teamwork, with strong customer service and communication skills to keep customers informed and satisfied.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
