Job Summary
As a Rescue Solutions Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for Fire Equipment and Hurst rescue tools in your territory, working directly with fire departments to maintain equipment, train teams, and help them make informed purchasing decisions. You’ll perform annual service, testing, and repairs on hydraulic and battery-powered rescue tools; troubleshoot issues on-site; maintain safety and performance standards; conduct hands-on demonstrations and training; support departments with product knowledge; grow Hurst product sales within your territory; manage the full sales cycle from demo to close; and travel locally while representing Firematic at trade shows and events.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical or technical background (equipment service, automotive, diesel, or similar)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with first responders
- Self-starter who thrives in a field-based, relationship-driven role
- Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear, practical way
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
