Job Summary
Evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates a variety of test and measurement equipment; prepares repair estimates and executes approved repairs; troubleshoots and calibrates customer and ETI instrumentation; manages customer engagements for timely responses; supports calibration, assembly, and retrofit activities; collaborates with Calibration Technicians, Assembly Technicians and Repair Specialists; reports to Production Manager; requires travel to customer locations across the United States and potential in-lab or on-site service; strong aptitude in electronics/mechanics and ability to discuss technical issues with customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of related field experience in Electrical or mechanical calibration; military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred
- Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot calibration issues
- Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment
- Ability to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background security check
