Service Technician responsible for supporting maintenance, repair, and rebuild of agricultural air seeding and precision planting equipment in shop and field environments. Role emphasizes hands-on mechanical work, field service at customer locations, independent work in travel-heavy settings, and strong troubleshooting. Requires safe operation of tools and company vehicles, clear communication with team leadership, and the ability to travel weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with agricultural or heavy equipment preferred
- Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of basic mechanical systems
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and general shop equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability and willingness to travel weekly for field service work
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing hands-on mechanical work
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic
- Ability to take initiative and adapt in a dynamic work environment
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Agricultural or farming background is a strong plus
