Job Summary
Service Technician at Quality Equipment in Scotland Neck, NC region. Responsible for basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products, disassembly/assembly/repair of components, completing repair orders, and communicating needs to the Service Manager. Requires HS diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of service-repair experience; strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical and/or hydraulic systems; ability to use diagnostic tools and PC; customer-facing communication; valid driver’s license; tool ownership. On-site role with standard shop duties, safety compliance, and opportunities for training and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience performing service repairs
- Proficient knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems and/or hydraulic systems
- Ability to write diagnosis and work completed on repair orders
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Valid driver’s license
- Must possess set of tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers
