Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance on trucks from class 5 through class 8 and recreational vehicles according to OEM and company guidelines. Duties include diagnosing and repairing truck systems using hand and power tools, ensuring repairs are accurate and complete, maintaining work order processes, testing trucks post-repair, and keeping the work area organized. Candidates should possess necessary certifications or training, including ASE Heavy Duty Truck Certifications or a valid CDL license with A/C certification, and complete required training to become Systems Certified.
Required Qualifications
- Possess 3 valid ASE HEAVY DUTY TRUCK Certifications
- Possess a valid CDL license for the state of Georgia and valid A/C certification
- Complete 100% of on-line Freightliner Technician Training to become Systems Certified in Cascadia, M-2, Western Star, DT12, Detroit Axles, CNG Systems within specified time
