Job Summary
Operate and maintain Phillips Management Groups assets by performing routine preventative maintenance, completing work orders, and managing trash compactor and pool maintenance during the season. Monitor vacant units, assist with purchasing building equipment, and maintain exterior property appearance to ensure good street appeal. Record maintenance costs, manage SDS/OSHA/EPA logs, and check key logs daily. Assist supervisors in overseeing maintenance pools, grounds, and projects while participating in an on-call rotation. Maintain a 24-hour or less response time for service requests. Must possess basic electrical experience, a valid driver's license, own vehicle, and EPA Section 8 Certification – Type II.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two (2) plus years' experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic computer skills
- CFC, CPO (Recommended)
- EPA Section 8 Certification – Type II
- Own vehicle
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license
- Insurance
- Ability to stand
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
