Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment at customer locations and the shop. Diagnose and repair electric forklift systems, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, carburetors, electrical and air systems, final drives, clutches, and more. Accurately troubleshoot equipment issues, communicate clearly with customers, and coordinate with the Parts Department to order and return parts as needed. Ensure maximum uptime for essential equipment while delivering high-quality service and building trusted relationships with clients who rely on your expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry
- Basic computer knowledge including experience with Excel, Word and Outlook
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work under little or no supervision
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Proficiency in English
- Driver's license with a good driving record
- Must provide own tools
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
