Job Summary
Service Technician role responsible for planning and executing service trips from a remote-based location, performing in-field system repairs, electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and equipment testing. Acts as a technical resource for customers, supports sales with on-site visits and remote consultations, develops customer relationships, travels to customer sites, and ensures equipment performs to standards. Requires proficiency with industrial controls, schematics, and a strong emphasis on safety and reliability; remote-based with 70-80% travel to sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Trades certificate or associate degree (preferred)
- Minimum of three years’ experience in product assembly, field service, testing, maintenance, controls, or electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency reading schematics, engineered drawings, and blueprints
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Background check and drug testing during onboarding and random intervals
- Ability to travel 70-80% time
- Strong communication with customers and team
- Experience with motors, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, blowers, electrical devices and controls
- Familiarity with hand tools and small power tools
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Maintain safety and quality standards
- Ability to work with minimal to moderate supervision
