Job Summary
Complete resident maintenance work orders, assist with apartment turnovers including painting and appliance checks, and perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fixtures. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on apartments, grounds, and common areas while identifying and reporting safety or habitability issues. Maintain pools and pool equipment, manage snow removal, and keep the maintenance shop organized. Adhere to OSHA, Fair Housing, and other regulations; participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. Lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Work evenings, weekends, and rotating shifts with minimal travel to Bloomfield Hills or Metro Detroit training sites. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of property maintenance experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to comfortably use ladders and stairs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations
