Job Summary
On-site Service Technician role. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial foodservice equipment (refrigeration, cooking systems, ware washing, baking). Travel directly from home to customer locations for on-site service calls with minimal supervision. Deliver strong customer service while meeting productivity goals. Document service activities, repairs, parts used, and equipment conditions. Maintain an organized service vehicle and inventory; participate in on-call rotations and overtime as needed. Build relationships through professional expertise and responsive service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical systems, appliance repair, or building maintenance
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification required; HVAC-related certification or degree preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel daily for service calls
- Willingness to attend technical training at the company's headquarters in Troy, OH
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
