Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles, including basic and major mechanical issues, while maintaining high knowledge of High Voltage, Low Voltage, and general electric vehicle systems. Perform repairs following correct documentation procedures and collaborate effectively with the service team and customers. Demonstrate attention to detail when working remotely to support the mobile service team as needed. Complete ASE certifications within six to eight months of hire date and work toward EPA 609 certification. All employees are trained at and report to the Costa Mesa Service center until the new Mission Viejo location opens.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- previous experience with EV/HEV diagnosis and repair
- Knowledge of High Voltage systems
- Knowledge of Low Voltage systems
- Knowledge of Electric Vehicle powertrains
- Customer facing experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn proprietary DMS software
- EPA 609 Certification
- Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
- Valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year
- Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver's License for a minimum of 3 years
- successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, L4 - ADAS)
- Experience in luxury automobile repair environments
