Job Summary
The Field Service Technician will perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of vehicle wash equipment and accessories. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems, conducting inspections, and training customers on equipment maintenance. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and a clean driving record. The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Service Technician in a related area
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations within the past 5 years
- No impaired driving convictions within the past 10 years
- Ability to use basic math and writing skills
- Demonstrable interest and aptitude in mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work
- Ability to comprehend and interpret equipment, operation, and maintenance manuals
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Adequate sight to read installation and other engineering documents
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift experience and/or ability to obtain forklift certification
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with Microsoft and Google Suite programs

- Must be local to the GTA Greater Toronto Area
