Service Technician

Job Summary
Perform on-site services for new and existing clients, including emergency repairs, equipment servicing, upgrades, installation, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance. Diagnose equipment problems, assess issues, document findings, and decide whether to repair or replace parts. Conduct technical analysis of product implementations and modifications per customer specifications. Keep clients informed on service status and recommend enhancements. Provide technical support and training to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment. Assist less experienced technicians and lead small to moderate projects at customer sites. Maintain compliance with local, national regulatory agencies, and Motion's safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- technical degree
- three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
- equivalent combination of experience and education
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work effectively with customers, peers and management to resolve client issues
- Push/pull up to 100 pounds
