Job Summary
Perform field service on Marvin products, diagnosing/troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and replacing parts at customer locations. Replace glass in windows/doors and install items like shades, blinds, muntins, screens. Provide care-operation-and-maintenance guidance to customers, complete service-related paperwork, schedule follow-up service or billing, and strive for a “Very Satisfied” Customer Service Rating. Conduct job-site walk-throughs, identify items needing attention before finalization, collect payments as required, and assist in training other Field Service Technicians. Load the service van with parts, maintain the service vehicle, and adhere to safety requirements. Maintain a professional appearance, problem-solve with creativity, and promote continuous improvement. Requires valid driver’s license and compliance with Fleet Safety Policy. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- dependable work history
- prior knowledge of general construction applications/terminology and/or window/door applications or components
- prior experience with power tools (table saw, circular or miter saw, pneumatic nail gun, power drill)
- excellent verbal and written English
- strong customer-service orientation and ability to communicate with customers, managers, and coworkers
- valid driver’s license and compliance with Fleet Safety Policy
