Job Summary
As an Agriculture Service Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and service agricultural equipment while prioritizing customer support and high-quality workmanship. You will use specialized tools and advanced technology to complete complex repairs and perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer standards. Participation in ongoing training, including John Deere University programs, is encouraged to enhance your technical skills. Candidates should have over 3 years of service repair experience and ideally hold a Journeyperson certification or an equivalent qualification in a mechanical field.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience performing complex service repairs and maintenance
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and basic computer functions
- Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent in a mechanical field
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
- Strong diagnostic skills
