Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex issues on agricultural, turf, and compact construction equipment directly at customer sites in the Napanee/Odessa or Ottawa/Cornwall areas. Troubleshoot advanced GPS and Precision Ag technologies while communicating repair details and maintaining work orders. Manage mobile service vehicle inventory, tools, and parts stocking processes, adhering to safety standards and completing all required documentation and reports. Support customer clinics and may promote service programs. Requires 4+ years of service repair experience, valid driver's license, and ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly. Saturday rotation and on-call availability apply.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs following technical manuals
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and support GPS and Precision Ag technologies
- Proficient with Service Advisor and basic computer skills
- Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment
- Saturday rotation and on-call availability
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced or Master Service Technician certification
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Forklift license
- Associate's degree or equivalent technical training
- Experience with John Deere and competitive products
- Associate's degree preferred
