Job Summary
Diagnose and repair two and four stroke engines, marine vehicles, and defective frame or body parts using hand tools, presses, and other equipment. Perform preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications, compose repair estimates, and explain diagnostic test results to the Service Manager or customer. Prepare parts lists and labor times, conduct test rides, and inspect vehicles to identify additional recommended services. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area while following all safety guidelines. Provide your own basic tools and work with minimal supervision in a physically demanding environment requiring long hours, weekends, and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years experience as a Motorcycles/ATV/ PWC technician

- Basic understanding of computers
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Move at a fast pace
- Moving of vehicles by hand

- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
- Reasoning Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training
- Basic computer knowledge i.e. typing and the use of scheduling systems
- Regular attendance during normal scheduled store hours
- Ability to work 9+ hours per day
- Ability to work weekends
- Frequent standing, walking and sitting
- Ability to work in a high stress environment
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs
- Occasional pushing of up to 100+ lbs
