Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment by troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems, diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems. Process work order requests including parts orders and requests. Perform occasional travel as needed. Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ½ inch along with ancillary tools for diesel repair. Monday to Friday schedule with hourly pay based on experience. Full-time role with excellent benefits including 401(k) matching, health, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid time off. All PPE provided by the company.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience as a diesel or heavy truck mechanic
- Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ½ inch along with ancillary tools to do diesel repair
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- CDL License (Preferred)
- CDL preferred
- Vacuum truck repair experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate
- Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred
