Job Summary
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Test-drive vehicles and components to verify repairs. Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs and provide time estimates. Maintain steady hand-eye coordination and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. Requires valid driver's license, clean driving record, and B-level ASE certification in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certification
- B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
