Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems by performing work specified on repair orders with efficiency. Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues, then communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional service needs. Provide time estimates for repairs and execute warranty work to manufacturer specifications. This flat rate paid position requires at least two years of auto technician experience, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills. Candidates must possess the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and demonstrate a willingness to learn new problems. Mazda certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Good selection of personal tools and toolbox
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver's license
