Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles while discussing repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor. Plan work cooperatively, provide labor estimates, and monitor repair times to update clients. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies and federal regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal. Complete documentation for client repairs and assist in mentoring technician trainees. Attend company and factory training to stay current with technical bulletins. Freeman Honda offers a Master Tech starting pay of $35 plus a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Operator Driver's License
- State Inspection License
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles
- Positive attitude
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
