Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all mechanical and electrical problems on boats, motors, and trailers while assisting customers with technical questions. Maintain a professional image through all interactions and report safety issues immediately to the supervisor. Independently lift up to 50 pounds, swim or wear a flotation device for emergencies, and work outside in various weather conditions. Requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays during the busy season.
Required Qualifications
- Marine Service Technician Diploma or certification
- Knowledge or related experience in the marine service industry
- Must be able to independently lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency
- Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
