Job Summary
Diagnose and repair assigned Class 5 through Class 8 vehicles and recreational vehicles per OEM and company policies. Verify repairs complete customer complaints, notify the shop foreman of additional issues, and punch job costs into the billing program. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, adhere to OSHA safety protocols, and ensure warranty parts are processed correctly. Achieve company efficiency standards while learning warranty procedures and vehicle policies. Requires verbal/written communication, basic computer skills, and heavy-duty repair knowledge. Minimum six months of heavy-duty repair experience preferred. Own tools and a clean MVR record are advantageous. Associate's degree or trade school experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Basic computer use and navigation skills
- Knowledge of Heavy Duty/ Medium repair techniques
- Ability to learn company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies
- Customer Service focused
- Minimum of 6 months Heavy Duty/ Medium Duty repair work
- Pre-employment drug testing/background check
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a two year college or trade school
- Commercial Driver's License
- Clean MVR Record
- Own tools
