Job Summary
Repair and replace virtually any component on lift trucks, including troubleshooting, diagnosing faults, and reading fault codes. Disassemble units to inspect parts for wear, tear down faulty assemblies, and rebuild components while repairing electrical systems and brake systems. Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and tune-ups, adjust repaired systems to meet performance specifications, and conduct test drives. Install accessories, replace lights, and download software updates as required. This role involves pre-delivery inspections and assembly of new forklifts. Candidates must possess 36 months of experience in auto, diesel, or other mechanics, hold a valid driver's license and forklift certification, and be able to lift 75 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 36 months experience as a diesel, auto, or other technician
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Must supply own tools
- Forklift Certification
- Valid Driver License
- Must Pass Background Check and DOT/Drug Tests
- Ability to organize workload to meet deadlines
- Effectively communicate with customers, and management
- Ability to interact in a positive manner with customers
