Job Summary
Coordinate delivery, installation, and service of rental HVAC equipment, including taking customer orders, filling tickets, and performing equipment start-ups and reconditioning. Troubleshoot and repair air-cooled chillers and large tonnage units while adhering to electrical safety policies and using appropriate PPE. Manage equipment pick-ups and returns, documenting missing items on signed tickets, and store units in the branch warehouse. Requires a Universal Refrigeration Certificate, 3–5 years of experience, and a valid driver's license with DOT physical. Located in Columbus, OH.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years similar experience
- 2-year HVAC certificate
- Universal Refrigeration Certificate
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft computer products
- Experience with an MRP or Rental software package
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle report test (MVR)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs using tool safe lifting practices
