Job Summary
Coordinate delivery, installation, and service of rental HVAC equipment, including taking customer orders, filling tickets, and managing accessory pickups. Perform equipment start-ups, reconditioning, and repairs on air-cooled chillers and large tonnage units while adhering to electrical safety policies and PPE requirements. Execute temporary hook-ups for natural gas or propane sources and run flexible ductwork, ensuring all work follows tool-safe lifting practices and fall protection standards. Manage equipment return processes by inspecting sites for missing items and obtaining signed pick-up tickets. Maintain branch warehouse inventory and support peers and sales personnel in coordinating service logistics. Requires a Universal Refrigeration Certificate, 3-5 years of HVAC experience, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years similar experience
- 2-year HVAC certificate
- Universal Refrigeration Certificate
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft computer products
- Experience with an MRP or Rental software package
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle report test (MVR)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs using tool safe lifting practices
