Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately and efficiently. Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines. Complete all repair orders thoroughly and legibly, documenting parts used and time spent. Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status, additional needed repairs, and completion timelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in compliance with shop and OSHA standards. Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training to stay current with evolving technology. Mentor and support apprentice technicians as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Prior automotive technician experience in a dealership or shop setting
- ASE certification(s) preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification encouraged to apply
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software (brand-specific experience a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Own a set of personal hand tools (specialty tools provided by dealership)
