Job Summary
Analyze customer needs and establish service by studying requirements, ordering parts, and troubleshooting water and wastewater systems including pumps, valves, motors, and lift stations. Maintain equipment by performing preventative maintenance, following operating instructions, and ensuring all supplies are accounted for. Document service actions by completing forms, reports, and logs using MOXO, Service Pro, and Microsoft Office. Travel to customer locations with 10-15% out-of-state travel required, working 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with potential on-call duties and overtime. Maintain a DOT medical card and unrestricted driver's license while adhering to OSHA, MSHA, and EPA safety standards in dirty, wet, and dusty environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to use general business software (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Excel, Adobe Acrobat) and hardware (smartphone/tablet, notebook computer, etc.)
- Able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and unrestricted driver's license with acceptable MVR
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, and follow OSHA, MSHA, DOT, DEQ, EPA, and other applicable safety and regulatory standards
- Ability and willingness to learn continuously through training and independently
Desired Qualifications
- Small to medium water and sewer utility systems knowledge, troubleshooting ability and equipment maintenance experience
- Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, construction, or related fields
