Job Summary
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Test drive vehicles and test components and systems. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed and provide estimates of time and parts. Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications while maintaining a clean work environment. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Technician or similar role
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- At least 18 years of age
