Job Summary
The Service Technician installs, maintains and repairs fuel dispensing equipment including dispensers, submersible fuel pumps, site controllers, credit card readers, cash register consoles, pumping PCW, tank/line monitoring equipment, and related station electronics; performs repairs, scheduled maintenance, and factory-authorized modifications per OEM specifications; ensures safety and regulatory compliance (fire safety, OSHA, EPA); anticipates and resolves issues, handles after-hours service calls, and travels as needed; collaborates with service project crews during startup and commissioning of equipment; emphasizes quality customer service and safe work practices; required to complete prerequisite work to obtain and maintain OEM certifications; qualifications include High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, computer-literacy, and US work eligibility; preferred Gilbarco Dispenser and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certifications; relocation assistance considered for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have a valid Driver License
- Familiarity with computer operations
- Gilbarco Dispenser certification and Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification, preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
