Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, submersible pumps, site controllers, and monitoring equipment at retail and commercial service stations. Perform scheduled maintenance, break fixes, and factory-authorized modifications while adhering to fire safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Resolve warranty calls and handle after-hours service requests, ensuring all repairs are completed in a cost-effective manner. Maintain required tools and follow customer safety guidelines during site visits. Travel as needed for service projects and assist lead technicians with equipment start-up and commissioning.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver License
- Familiarity with computer operations
- Aptitude for learning computer skills
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass an MVR (if driving for the company)
- Must be able to work through difficult problems
- Must be able to work in a safe manner
- Must understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations
- Must be able to resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors
- Must be able to perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis
- Must be able to perform break fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing and mechanical work
- Must be able to perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers
- Must be able to work with service project crew on service projects
- Must be able to assist lead technician(s) with the start-up and commissioning of equipment
- Must be able to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Gilbarco Dispenser certification
- Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification
