Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair fuel dispensers, submersible pumps, site controllers, and monitoring equipment at retail and commercial stations. Perform scheduled maintenance, factory-authorized modifications, and break-fix work on electronics, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors while adhering to fire safety, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Assist lead technicians with equipment start-up and commissioning on service projects. Travel as needed to customer sites and perform after-hours service calls. Maintain tools and follow customer safety guidelines. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and familiarity with computer operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver License
- Familiarity with computer operations
- Aptitude for learning computer skills
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass an MVR (if driving for the company)
- Must be able to work through difficult problems
- Must be able to work in a safe manner
- Must understand and comply with applicable fire safety, OSHA, and EPA rules and regulations
- Must be able to resolve warranty calls on dispensers and tank monitors
- Must be able to perform service calls as needed on an after-hours basis
- Must be able to perform break fix and preventative maintenance on service station electronics, computers, and the fuel dispensing systems, including electronic, plumbing and mechanical work
- Must be able to provide quality customer service
- Must be able to perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers
- Must be able to work with service project crew on service projects
- Must be able to assist lead technician(s) with the start-up and commissioning of equipment
- Must be able to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Gilbarco Dispenser certification
- Veeder Root Tank Monitor certification
