Job Summary
Diagnose and service heavy-duty trucks and IMT service trucks at the Surprise, AZ shop; perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and integrated systems; troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems; perform welding and fabrication as needed; operate, test, and inspect cranes for safety and functionality; service air compressors and auxiliary equipment; accurately document labor, parts, and service notes; adhere to OSHA and DOT standards and communicate with customers to explain repairs and recommend preventive maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working on heavy-duty trucks or industrial equipment
- Demonstrated experience with hydraulic systems, cranes, welders, and air compressors
- Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information
- Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces as required
- Certifications in crane operation, welding, or heavy equipment repair are a plus
