Service Technician

Job Summary
Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironers, at customer sites such as hospitals and motels. Install replacement parts as needed and assist install crews with equipment installations and deliveries. Accurately document all service and travel activities, including time, materials, mileage, and fuel purchases. Communicate effectively with customers, the service manager, parts department, and vendors to ensure satisfaction and facilitate accurate work products. Maintain tools, service equipment, and the company-supplied vehicle. Requires 2+ years of mechanical repair experience, a valid driver's license, and substantial travel within the Nashville, TN market.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical repair experience
- Working knowledge of electrical testing tools and/or other diagnostic/programing tools
- Strong mechanical acumen
- Ability to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Solid organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to self-manage workload and multiple projects simultaneously while managing and meeting deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Resilient
- Strong work ethic
- Self-starter
- Valid driver's license
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, climb, and use manual dexterity
- Must be able to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls
