Job Summary
Residential Service Technician troubleshoots and services security systems; reads blueprints and electrical plans, repairs or replaces inoperative equipment, readjusts equipment, tests operation, and coordinates inspections with authorities. Responsibilities include locating and alleviating equipment issues, preparing trouble order forms, and coordinating inspections/installations with police or fire departments. Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, Nicet Level 3 preferred, extensive experience (8+ years) in installation/inspection/repair of ADT or similar products, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. The role is based in Melville, NY and is full-time with compensation $23.00-$42.71 per hour (annualized to $47,840-$88,837). Required Qualifications
